Job Description:
We are seeking a seasoned sales professional to generate and maintain new business that are in line with our company’s core competencies.
Duties include, but not limited to:
– Promote HNM Global Logistics and all of its services
– Cultivate new business leads
– Execute sales
– Quoting of freight costs and promoting services to prospects and clients
– Negotiation and responding to bids, RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs
– Create necessary marketing materials, including flyers, email blasts, and social media
– Assist with sales campaign and events
– Represent the company at various community and/or business meetings to promote the organization
– Coordinate with sales team to ensure that presentations and proposals align with overall sales strategy
Job Requirements:
Experienced sales representative with minimum of 2 years in the freight-transportation industry. The candidate must understand incoterms and other freight terminology. Must have basic knowledge of import & export compliance. Marketing experience a plus. Excellent computer and communication skills (verbal, written, and social media) are imperative.
