Our Team Tony

Tony McGee is an 11-year veteran NFL player who retired in 2003. He played 9 years with the Cincinnati Bengals, one year with Dallas Cowboys and one year with the NY Giants. Upon retirement in 2004, Tony established HNM Enterprises, where the company’s initial focus was real estate investment. He was instrumental in the revitalization of downtown Orlando. His involvement in several downtown projects led to opportunities in retail hospitality, as well as FF&E for large hospitality projects. It was through the renovation projects that HNM was introduced to warehousing and distribution. The logistics was a segue to our current business focus.

In 2011, HNM enterprises expanded by adding a freight forwarding, truck brokerage and customs brokerage business units. These businesses are currently in successful operation today and have grown exponentially. Tony has successfully leveraged being a small minority-owned business.  He supports other minority businesses and serves as a mentor for minority owned/operated logistics startups. In 2014, Tony was appointed by Penny Pritzker, Secretary of Commerce, to serve on the Advisory Committee for Supply Chain Competitiveness.  The Committee advises the Secretary on the necessary elements of a comprehensive, holistic national freight infrastructure, and a national freight policy designed to support U.S. export growth, foster national economic competitiveness, and improve U.S.
supply chain competitiveness in the domestic and global economy.

Tony continues to give back to his communities. He developed a Dunkin’s Donuts Franchise in his hometown of Terre Haute, Indiana and is the Founding Board Member for an at-risk youth mentoring organization called “Brothers Reaching Out”
He serves on the Board for Career Source Florida, appointed by former Governor Rick Scott. He is also a Board Member for the African-American Chamber of Commerce of Central Florida.
